Kevin Nitta serves as Tax Manager at E.A. Buck Accounting & Tax Services where he works to help educate clients on new tax laws and strategies as well as provide a product that is both understandable and meaningful.
Kevin has over 20 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, payroll, and other tax-related services. Prior to his current role, Kevin served as President of Premier Business Services, a Hawaii-based accounting firm offering tax preparation and business accounting services, where he led all operations of the firm before successfully merging the company with E.A. Buck. Kevin strives to build meaningful relationships with clients and help others find solutions to problems – a motivation that comes from a sincere desire to help people as well as learn from the diverse stories and backgrounds of his clients. Outside of the office, Kevin can be found traveling or reading up on the latest technology trends.
Lark as more than 10 years of experience in the accounting and tax preparation industry. As a Tax Associate, Lark enjoys getting to know the many diverse clients and accounts and getting to understand everyone’s unique situation. Lark moved to Hawaii to chase her “happy ever after,” and her hobbies include being with family and friends, going fishing, and exploring the crafting world.
Shayna was born and raised in Hilo on the island of Hawaii but moved to Hawaii Kai about 10 years ago. She graduated from Kamehameha School and attended Warner Pacific College in Portland, Oregon. Shayna has over 6 years of experience working in the accounting and payroll industry and is a Payroll Associate on our Accounting team. Shayna especially enjoys family time, going to the beach, baking, and DIY projects.
Chie is a Tax Manager with years of professional experience in the billing and accounting fields. She is a part of our tax team and is an enrolled agent (EA) and an actively licensed paid tax return preparer. Chie prides herself on being detail-oriented, efficient, and deadline-driven with a passion for deepening her expertise in tax law.
Arisa is part of our tax team as a Tax Associate. She is a tax enrolled agent (EA) and has 10 years of experience in the accounting industry and an excellent record of accuracy and client satisfaction. Arisa is also fluent in speaking, reading, and writing Japanese. She is a highly focused and meticulous accountant and tax professional who prides herself on being detail-oriented and providing excellent service.
Alicia is a Tax Associate at E.A. Buck Accounting and Tax Services, leveraging her bachelor’s degree in Financial Economics from Western Washington University and her professional accounting background to assist individuals and businesses with their tax needs. Alicia always strives to be collaborative and tailor services to meet each client’s unique requirements. Originally from Washington, she has called Oahu home for nearly three years. Alicia is also fluent in Russian.
Kaila is a University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa Shidler College of Business graduate with a professional background in the financial industry. She assists all members of the team with all administrative processes and client services. Kaila is likely the first friendly face you’ll see when walking through our doors and always strives to provide excellent quality care and service.
